Northside started in 2011 with one van and one rule: answer the phone and turn up when you say you will. Fifteen years on, Gary still runs the books from the kitchen table, and the team has grown to six fully Gas Safe engineers who live right here in Leeds.
We're not a national call centre that subcontracts your job to a stranger. How much will it cost — and is there a call-out fee?
There's no call-out fee for any job booked before noon. Standard work is charged at a fair fixed price that we give you in writing before we start, so you always know the cost up front. A full boiler service starts from £95.
Which areas do you cover?
We cover all of Leeds and North Leeds — including Chapel Allerton, Headingley, Roundhay, Horsforth, Moortown, Meanwood and the surrounding suburbs. If you're just outside, give us a ring and we'll let you know.
Do you really answer 24/7 in an emergency?
Yes. Burst pipes, flooding and total loss of heating or hot water don't keep office hours, so neither do we. Call any time, day or night, and we'll aim to be with you within the hour.
Are you Gas Safe registered and insured?
Absolutely. Every engineer is Gas Safe registered (no. 612049) and we carry full public liability insurance. We're happy to show you our card on the doorstep before any gas work begins.
